WhatCar.ie was launched in 2005 to take the stress out of buying a new or used car. We brought the buyer and the seller together and made the process a much more enjoyable and cost effective way to purchase a car. Since starting we have had requests from our customers and dealers to expand WhatCar.ie to include selling cars in the same simple and direct way.

With the all new WhatCar.ie website we have developed an easy to use car buying website that gives car dealers and private individuals an easy way to display their new and used cars for sale. Visitors looking for a car can use our quick search for either new or used cars and with only a few clicks have a vast list of new or used cars and sellers from which to choose. Car dealers can quickly upload their stock for sale in a well presented and informative manner making it easy for the buyer to select the car they are looking for.

Anyone can register with WhatCar.ie, you don't have to be selling a used car. All registered users can avail of the following features on WhatCar.ie:

• My Wishlist – you will be able to add your favourite new or used cars to your Wishlist. You can return at any time, login and view your Wishlist.
• Saved Searches – when you search for a new or used car, you can choose to save the search on the search results page. You can then view your Saved Searches and choose to be notified via email when other cars matching your search criteria are added to WhatCar.ie

All visitors to the website can avail of our Resource Tools:

• Car Valuation – give it a go and value your used car. The results will be based on prices for similar models for sale on WhatCar.ie.
• Car Loan Calculator – calculate the repayments on a car loan simply.
• Road Tax Calculator – calculate the road tax (Republic of Ireland only) on any vehicle by choosing the engine size.
